Parking
Parking around our school is monitored by Melton City Council. They will enforce restrictions and breaches of rules. Signage clearly outlines parking requirements.
Please only use designated parking areas/bays. This includes the large community car park at the rear of the school.
Please be courteous to our surrounding residents, when parking, dropping or collecting students from school – obey parking signs and do not park in or over driveways. We ask that you leave enough time to drop off and pick up children in a safe and legal manner.
Please also give particular attention to how children alight from cars and come to meet you.
If both the home and school emphasise obeying road rules and safety procedures, our students will make a habit of responsible and safe behaviour.

Handy Tips for Safe Parking
- Park a few streets away and walk to and from school. Use this time to teach your child about road safety and be a good role model
- Allow enough time to get your child to the school gate safely and without rushing
- Always observe the parking signs around the school
- Never park illegally in a driveway, or on/near a school crossing
- Never double park or wait on the road at a pick-up / drop off point. It blocks the vision for other drivers, forces children onto the road, obstructs the flow of traffic and may force other drivers to make inappropriate driving choices
- Do not use staff car park or driveways to drop off your children
- Please remember to be patient, courteous and respectful when driving around schools
